I purchased a "Refurbished" Laptop Computer from Fry's and was told I would receive a 90 day warranty.
About 87 days later the computer died. I attempted to get an exchange and was informed rather rudely by the salesperson that the Fry's warranty period was 30 days.
I informed him that was not what I was told when I bought the laptop or I would never have bought it in the first place.
He told me that the refurbisher offered a 90 day warranty, I asked the sales guy how I could get in contact with the refurbisher and he said "He didn't know."
I should have gone to WalMart where I would have paid a bit more for a new laptop.
I have been a Fry's customer for 20 plus years. I will not be in the future.
