No warranty or commitments - BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Purchased a 32 inch smart Samsung TV from Frys Las Vegas store. when i took it out of the box it was turned on and did not operate and looked very strange with many lines and curves. I return it in box to the store and they said it was damaged by me! I told them it did not work from the moment I plugged it in. I said it was brand-new out of box. they refused to do anything about it. I paid over $200 for a remote control therefore. Will never purchase from any BOGUS Frys store again. Very very dissatisfied with a major chain like this. Deplorable service. Never ever again.

Delivery guys damaged item and store refused to make things right

We got a price over the phone on a refrigerator, but when we came in, they raised it by more than 1/3. They did not want to honor quoted price until we made a big deal out of it. The delivery guys removed the door to fit it in the house, but replaced it incorrectly (the lazy way) They damaged the hinge and now there is a loud obnoxious clicking noise, which means extra wear and tear in the long run. After many phone calls and hollow promises, we had no choice but to drop the matter because we were not getting anywhere, they tried to blame Samsung for the clicking. (it did not click at the store) Samsung came out and told us it was from an improper installation. We figured something is better than nothing so I called and asked for the delivery fee to be returned. They refunded the fee, but not the mileage. How cheap is that? If I had known they would damage the door, I would have taken care of the delivery myself and not pay any delivery fee. Now we're stuck with potentially replacing a $700 door out of pocket because the hinge is part of the door and does not separate. Thanks Fry's, way to alienate your customers.

False Advertising - Terrible Service

Samsung was offering a great deal on a nice TV ($10k !). Couldn't pick up in store anywhere though. I reviewed all kinds of sites, like Best Buy and even Samsung direct. I purchased through Frye's because their website said the TV would ship "next business day." I ordered June 24 and got the confirmation email on June 24. It is July 30, and still no TV. I was ok with a couple weeks, no big deal though. I called and they gave me the proverbial run around. Said it would go out the next Monday (July 11). Guess not. They said they would credit me $100; they did not do that either. My issue is the misleading and false advertising about shipping "next business day." They get consumers to buy through them on the false belief Frye's will ship faster and the consumer (like me) will get their product quicker by using Fryes over other retailers.

WHY DO THEY HATE CUSTOMERS?

My child was very excited to get star wars. I googled frys, and they said the closes fry's was about an hour area in Torrance. It gave a local 310 phone number. at 7:02 I called from my cell I spoke to Emma, she was very friendly. Emma told me "We have lots of copies!" I said "I am driving a long distance, so I want to make sure" I also verified the location (she said torrance) I also verified it was DVD NOT Blu Ray. I asked if they price match, she told me to bring a screenshot of the price match, so I took a photo of the screen price I had found. Since she was so nice and helpful, I thanked her, and drove the hour to the store. At the store...horrible. First off, the store was practically empty...no customers at all. The dvd was not on the shelf. I went to a counter where there was a man and a woman employee...no other customers. I asked them where this trilogy is. Very rudely, they told me they didn't have it. I said "But I just called the store an hour ago, and you said you had lots of copies". Without even looking up for his screen, the man said 'You called the call center". I showed him my cell phone log, that it was a local number. I said "she said to come down to torrance" "This is manhattan beach!" said the guy. I inquired if there was another fry's, perhaps in torrance? he said no. I stood there some more. The woman chimed in to say "you called the call center". I tried to explain that there is no way I could have known that...I called a local number, and Emma said "come on down...sounded like I was speaking to the store. But the man dismissed me, saying "there is no such product" Then both man and woman went back to tapping on their computers...what they were doing escapes me, as there were NO other customers there...they must have been updating their social media? I said "so...you're not going to help me?" They told me again there was no such product (right, because there are no star wars movies? ) I asked the woman for a manager. and she wandered off. I was not sure if this meant she was 1) ignoring me or 2) getting a manager. I waited, no one came back. So I decided it was option 1. The guy was still standing two feet from me, busy tapping into his computer. Still no other customers. Since no one came back, I asked the guy if there was a manager. He mumbled something. I waited another 5 minutes, and I asked again. In all this time, not one other customer has come up to their counter. He got all mad at me and mumbled into his walkie. I used my time to call the fry's number I had called earlier. After 14 min on hold with the number, they found my previous phone call no problem, and I got to sit on the phone for the next hour while the agent would occasionally tell me things like "the manager is reviewing your call". so now I am ignored by both the fry's call center and the fry's employees. finally, the store manager appears. Hiriam Vasquez. Hiriam finds the product no problem in his computer, but no apology. then he wanders off. never comes back. the woman says "what's your phone number?" when I ask her why she's asking this she says, very pissed off ,"I'm giving yo the price match". why are they so mad at me? in all this time, not one other customer has come up to their counter. After an hour, they locate the disc and toss it to me. no apology, only more blame. they tell me "you didn't specify it was dvd/blu ray combo". Uh..1) I didn't know and 2) I had a PHOTO of the product, they could have looked at that..if they had taken 3 minutes to inquire what I was looking for. Something like 'Hi, we don't have it on dvd, but we do have a dvd/blu ray combo. would you like that?" Finally I get to speak to Alicia at the call center. Alicia says I can't do anything the store and the call center are separate entities". Then she tells me her big solution is for me to wait until Monday and call the corporate office. So. 7 pm call 8 arrive at store 9:30 leave store 10:30 arrive home with very tired hungry kid. Out: $35 in gas. dinner for my kid, and $40 fora dvd that should have been two minute purchase, because I called ahead to verify it was in stock, and I had bought the screenshot to price match it . My kid who not only did not get to see star wars, but had to sit in fry's being ignored for 1.5 hours. I paid the price match, and Hiriam gets all pissy on me, declaring "I gave you a discount!" I try to explain that 1) his staff were super rude (he clearly doesn't care, and even efused to give me their names. When I asked his name, he hit his name tag. Ohhhh Kayyyyy...that's not rude? And 2) a price match is a price match. It's not a "I'm so sorry it's taken my staff 90 minutes to locate a dvd for you" discount. There's no mystery why there were no customers in that store!

Paz was in the Oxnard California store 5 years ago. My 24 year old worked there 5 years before being fired.

Paz had fun flying helicopters at Christmas...the only time customers saw him on the floor. He hung out in his office...never showing leadership and was a poor communicator.

My son is now paid 2x as much and not having stress...sorry that you had that terrible experience. Fry's is still making billions and they just don't care!

The Frys location in Duluth, GA should be shut down. This place is an absolute joke and doesn't care at all about the customer. They will try their hardest to rip you off and scam you into thinking their price match policy of charging shipping on top of a priced match item under $50 is not only good business but "policy". Sorry but I'm not an *** even though you think your customers are. To reiterate what this means, if Frys sells something for $39.99 and Amazon sells it for $36 and you price match at Frys which is a complete hassle in and of itself they will try to charge you $9 dollars shipping that Amazon would for a grand total of $45. Keep in mind that as a Prime member there is no shipping cost. But that's over their heads. In addition, they actually think that you will pay more to price match then you will to buy it out right. On top of this, the management is a complete joke. They mocked, laughed, snickered and turned their back on myself and a family member. They even had the gumption to say "Well you haven't asked me a question". I'm the customer, you're the manager, I don't have to ask you a question! You are the one who is supposed to make this right. This location has lost my business as well as my family's business and this will be brought to the attention of everyone I know. To top it off, I go to Best Buy and they price match something for 17 dollars off compared to Amazon and it was hassle free. I tried to explain this to the manager at Frys and he said "Well we aren't Best Buy". You know what? You're not Best Buy. With this kind of horrible service and disrespect for the customer, you never will be Best Buy. Congratulations Frys, you lost a customer for good.

Billings Review

Most difficult company to setup auto billing with I have ever seen. This is 2016 auto billing setup should be easy it is nearly impossible with try's. They do this intentionally so they can collect late fees if you forget to pay your bill and ruin your credit over some cheap camera. They need to be nvestigated by the Feds.

Went to the store in Houston at 11565 SW Freeway to buy a jump drive. Went to their cafe to buy a sandwich- the menu on the was has no prices on it. Nobody was behind the counter, but there were 2 young kids sitting in chairs next to a cash register in the corner. Asked about them if I could get a chicken ceasar wrap and the cashier said "let me check". He disappeared for over 5 minutes then came back and said "Yes I guess I can make it". I waited a long time for him to prepare it. The wrap was HORRIBLE. There was no dressing in the wrap. Ingredients were all present with the exception of the dressing. It fell apart on the first *** so I asked for a side of Ceasar dressing. They said they don't carry ceasar dressing....strange since the have a ceasar wrap on the menu. I was really hungry so I ate it and dipped my sandwich in my side of ranch. I left the restaurant and went to buy my jump drive but couldn't find where they were located. I went to the customer service counter and waited for quite a while and nobody came around even though employees saw me waiting. Anyway I found the jump drive and paid. As I was leaving the store the girl checking receipts was busy in a conversation with a friend so a line formed while she took her time to finish her personal conversation. NEVER will I go back again. Best Buy from now on.

I bought a brand new flat screen tv, when I got home to set it up, I notice the screen was crack so I took it back to the store for exchange, they refuse to give me a new tv or refund. they took my money and run, a bunch of crooks and thieves they are.

Frys Electronics - Boston Theater System Review from Los Angeles, California

I walked in to buy a home theater system sales men were all gathered at one end of the Isle and the sales women were too cool to ask if I needed any help but at least they were walking around, men were standing & talking it up. I'm dressed in a suit & took a shower this morning, so why didn't anyone offer any help at all in the 30 minutes that I looked around for someone. That will be my last visit to the Burbank fry's; time to go pick up my passenger at Bob hope airport & believe me, she will get super star customer service from me.

Premium System Build for PC

Picked up my newly built at Frys pc last night and began setting things up. Here I realize that they did not set windows up properly, everything downloading at all, going to the small SSD drive rather than the hard drive, so it fills up immediately. Move the folders to the hard disk, and end up needing permissions that I di not have as an administrator to download anything into those locations. So can't download /anything/ properly! Then this morning when I go to use it, it's telling me windows needs to be activated... Go to activate and while they sold me Windows 10 /home/ they did not even put the right system on the pc, having used Pro... So simply can not activate.. Oh just come on in and deal with them, a half hour drive, each way, then to go back later and get it.. Guess we will see what they say when i get there. Complete *** incompetence so far.

Ripped off by Fry's

purchased a HP Computer from Fry's in December for a Christmas present. About 2 week of using the computer, it developed a problem. it took around 20 minutes to start-up. We brought the computer back to Fry's and they told us there was something wrong with the computer and it wasn't working correctly. We were talked into exchanging the computer for the same one. They told us there they've never had a problem with this computer & it was a very good one. 3 weeks into owning the new computer we had the same problem. We took it to the service area as before and they checked it out and told us we could return it. We then had to take it to the return area for exchange or return. That's when Fry's became unbearable. They told us that we could not return it because it was past the 30 days when it was not past the 30 days on the 2nd computer. They told us we would have to pay them around $240.00 for thier warranty in order for us to exchange that computer. They had me leaving in tears. I spent $1,100.00 on this computer that is defective. ( I know that I can go to the manufacturer but I wanted Fry's to honor the return) When we brought back the 1st computer they told us we could bring the new one back if we have any problems. They flat out lied to us. Their excuse was that we had made an even exchange so the new computer doesn't count as "NEW". I feel that they just wanted more money from me. I will never shop at Fry's again. I'm sorry that I had to even give them 1 star. I do not have a scanner to include my receipt.

Frys used to be awesome. Now they wont stop sending me spammy emails. I have unsubscribed from their list multiple times, with no avail. I also sent a request to their customer service department to stop sending me emails, and that hasn't worked either. They are the worst. I won't be purchasing anything else from them ever again. It doesnt even matter if my laptop is great or not, because they treat their customers so poorly.

Dont Online Shop at Frys Electronics!! Waste of time!

WOW!! I am the QUEEN of online shopping...always order online and pick up at the stores!! Saves sooo much time...EXCEPT HERE!! I was SHOCKED at their process!! Everyone needs to know before they take the time to online order their method!! Working for an airline Frys Electronics on Baseline/I-10 was close and on the way home to get my sons b-day present. Went online today and ordered a gear shifter for his xbox and waited for the email to say it was ready. When I entered the store (customer service blocks the entryway) I asked them where to pick up online orders. They told me I had to wait in line at the registers and anyone could help! EVERY store I have ordered online for store pick up has a SPECIAL desk to get those items EXCEPT FRYS! The idea of ordering online is to SAVE TIME!! So... I went to the line which was over 25-30 people and waited the 20 minutes to get to the cashier. Once there he asked for the email print out that my order was ready. I asked if he couldn't just find it by my last name (due to there was only about 7 items on the back shelf for pick up and I could see it sitting there). He told me NO he HAD to have the email. With all those poor people waiting he proceeded to chat with another cashier while I found the email on my phone. I told him what the item was (and it had a LARGE PAPER WITH MY NAME ON IT) behind him but he told me again he had to have the email. BUT...after I showed him the email and he retrieved the item he asked for my credit card. I told him I paid online and he said they just ask for a credit card...and he didn't know why.... but they never actually charge a card until you get there!! I asked him WHY I entered all that info online and he said he had no clue. I have had the online pick up store ask to just see the card but never have to run it there too!! WHY DID I ORDER ONLINE WHEN IT SAVED ME ABSOLUTELY NO TIME!??? Why no pick up counter?? (and they had over TEN counters open and about 10 employees standing around behind them just chatting!) I even spoke to the manager at the store before I left to be sure it really was the way they do it!! He said that is just their policy in case someone changes their mind before picking up?? Once again....WHY DID I ORDER ONLINE?? if any of you have been to Frys Electronics you also know the line I am talking about.... the LONG LINE between aisles of junk you have to wait thru like an amusement park attraction maze??!! Once again...WHY ORDER ONLINE if you have to wait thru all that??? Just letting you know ALL THEIR COMPETITORS allow you to order online....pay online...an pick up QUICKLY at a SPECIAL DESK your items!! Since most of those places price match...it makes NO SENSE to EVER shop at Frys' Electronics again!! This is 2016.... Cyber shopping is the way of the future and they are living in Bedrock still!! wow, so you are mad because they needed to have the verification email to make sure you placed the order regardless of name or not, and they needed to verify your credit card to make sure you are who you say you are? It's store policy.

Don't like it? Don't shop there. Simple as that.

So sick of reading these reviews to get honest feedback and it is really just people not having instant gratification for what they think they deserve. Good luck shopping anywhere else haha!

They do not need to VERIFY the credit card....because they never process it!! AND... I dont know what review you are reading...they dont need to VERIFY the email....they have no clue what your email is...they just want to SEE IT! Since you post as anonymous I suppose you work there...or have a vested interest....

but even the MANAGER said they didn't need it! :) Hmm....simply dont shop there?? This was the FIRST TIME I had used them...and since apparently you cant read very well...said I would never revisit the store! :) I said I wish it was a better online process because sometimes you need QUICK PICK UP....nothing against the store...just their pick up policy stinks!

:) Once again...since you post ANONYMOUS... must have a third grade education since nothing said I think I DESERVE quicker online pickup..said if I have a choice of purchasing for "matched price" at Best Buy...Target...or everyone who sells electronics...will CHOOSE to purchase from someone who knows what ONLINE SHOPPING means to the consumer... which is QUICK pick up! :) I am SURE those who read reviews before shopping ....or those who have ever used your online pick up service...will agree!!

Frys Electronics - Lg Refrigerator Review from Taylor, Texas

I bought a refrigerator on blackfriday and have it delivered 23rd of December. On 22nd, I got a phone call from the sales person saying that they dont have it in stock and would be delivered after Christmas. I visited the Duluth, GA store where I purchaed, and ask the manager about it, and he said it is on truck on its way to the store and would be delivered to me in a few days. He did not give me the date, but just ask me to wait. It is 1-4-2016, and still no refrigerator. I called them back and now they say it will be delivered on 12th. I just bought a new house and I have to live without a refrigerator for 20+ days because they sold me something they don't have. I would bought something else if they told me that they dont have it in stock. They did not offer me anything for their mistake, nor have I received any apology. Good job fry's. I will never buy anything from frys ever again.
