Frys Electronics - Same Old Problems with Frys Rebates

I forgot what it was like to deal with Fry's "great rebate" offers. I purchased the Kaspersky Anti-virus 2018 software online and printed out the rebate instructions. No problem. Until, I tried to print out the Rebate Mail In form. After six (6) unsuccessful attempts to print it out - each attempt was answered with Not Found - I called Customer Service. The gentleman answering was able to send me the form via email after he was unable to access the rebate form online. He said "I found it by going to Google.............." Nice gentleman, very helpful BUT he did not take away the sting from being jabbed by Frys once again. I guess that I am a slow learner. There is an old adage about "the bitter taste of poor service lingers long after the sweet taste of a low price".

Frys Electronics - Poor customer service in electronics

We were suppose to receive a delivery on a TV and had a scheduled date and time. We checked with the customer service in electronics 4 times and they stated it was still scheduled to deliver. The time frame came and went and we never received a call. We called them again, and they had not received the TV to even deliver to us. We never received a call to let us know that they would not be delivering the TV to us at the scheduled time. As of right now they still cannot give us a delivery date or time that we will receive the TV. It's been 2 weeks since we ordered the TV. This will be the last time I purchase anything with this company because no one took the time to call us, as we stayed home a day from work to accommodate the delivery. We still do not know when we will receive the TV. The electronics manager was not willing to call to get an ETA on their po's that they should have received. Very disappointed in the customer service that has been provided.

When it arrived I accepted and signed for it but noticed I was being charged $599 + tax's. Called the local store to find out why, and was told it was not there problem, I was instructed to call the online number. Customer service service told me it was not there problem and they could not help me. They instructed me to call the store back. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor, none were available but one would return my call. 2 hours later I got a call back. Took about an hour and I was told my credit cart would be credited the difference in 3 to 5 days.

I just tried to purchase a 65" Samsung tv that was advertised with a Promo code. I checked availability and supposedly it was at the store I chose. After a long wait for processing, I get an email saying the tv was not available. Last week, the same tv was advertised and I go there to purchase, not available. The salesman said he another similar one for $300 more. Same thing happened about two weeks ago with a Sony cell phone. I get the store and was told it was unavailable. Its happened too many times to tell. I'll never shop there again.

Frys Electronics - Fry's Manhattan Beach, CA Terrible Check out experience September 30, 2017

To have a line of approximately 50-75 people with ONE checker actually working was ridiculous. When I asked for a manager, I was told there was none. The worst part of the experience were the 5-6 employees sitting around behind the counter chatting away with NO regard for their customers at all. It felt like we were back in the 1990's. I will not go back. I am adding words so this can appear. How silly is this that I have to generate 100 words. So I will just keep typing. This is the kind of silliness and bureaucratic crap that makes people nuts.

Frys Electronics - DP MOS FET 50WX4

MODEL NO. MOS-FET-50WX4, AFTER MARKET CAR AUDIO DECKS WITH DVD POP-UP SCREENS ARE BEING SOLD IN STORES AND ONLINE UNDER THE BRAND NAME DP and Pioneer. Many of the features on these decks work fair to good but the decks are basically JUNK. I purchased one from Fry's Electronics, and in less than two years of operation, the plastics hinge that holds the detachable face to the main unit snapped off. I took it back to Fry's under the extended warranty I purchased, and they gave me a replacement deck and ended the warranty. About 6 - 9 months later, on the same model new DP unit, the video display went completely white ending the use of the deck for watching videos or viewing a full display of the units functions. I contacted DP and asked for a repair or replacement of the unit. They advised me that after 90 days I was on my own and that they would not repair or fix the unit.

I gave money upfront for a warranty, now I have lost that again in wasted food......................its been 3weeks. I left on vacation to hopefully come home to a repaired fridge. Now here is Fry's problem, they do not tell you when you pay for your warranty that a third party will come to your home as they don't have in house mechanics. So the third party person could care less as they work at an appliance company servicing their customers first. Do you think they care about Fry's image NO. I will never purchase from Fry's again, and the people who answer the calls at Fry's are no help at all......it's duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Can't be mad at them you can just hope they get a better job.

I've had two bad experiences with Frys. The first was for a TV that was on sale. Went first thing in the morning and they sold out and only had floor model. Next was for a refrigerator, sold out and only had floor model. Was told on the phone that the refrigerator was flawless so we had it delivered and it had multiple dents. Did not accept and they still charged my card. I've been trying for three weeks now to have them remove the charge. NEVER AGAIN will I shop at Frys. When I contacted the store the Manager was RUDE. BAIT AND SWITCH Save the headaches and shop elsewhere!!

I bought a TV online to pick up at the store. Item wasn't ready had to wait 20 minutes. Had them load for me. Got home the screen had a big black streak. Called them on hold for 25 minutes, they said bring it back with original packing. I drove the 20 miles one way. The looked at it and blamed me and wouldn't give me a penny and made me load it back up. My wife and I handled the TV so gently and they blamed us for the damage. They said they had to contact Samsung and they would call me back. They never did. I called 4 more times with over 25 minute waits. I was either disconnected or they couldn't find anyone. Finally reached them by email. They wanted to take pictures. I said i would do it and send them. They wanted a picture of the TV on. When we went to do that they we discovered they never put the power cord in when they tested it. I called over and over again finally reaching someone who of course won't make it right, I'm out $650 for a TV that never has worked and FRYS would not make good on it.

Bought a Tenergy TN270 Li-ion Battery Fast Charger for my flashlight open up the clear packaging as soon I took out the battery out of the box and open my flashlight to install the battery found out it was a little different type but same size and length. Put everything back in the package, items clear of scratches and damage, drove to Fry's Electronic at City of Industry explain my situation, customer service called his immediate supervisor and then she explained that the store policy doesn't except open item. I ask if I can receive store credit, the supervisor immediately denied the request. Without any written policy shown to me or any proper explanation as to why they can't refund they just simply ignore my situation. NEVER BUYING FROM FRY'S AGAIN, FROM NOW ON BUYING FROM MA & PAP STORE.
